Just My Opinion by Steve

Don’t make cookies alone. I did it last night.  It was my first  “day of leisure” in a couple of weeks. I relish my days of leisure, and I wanted to cook something, so I baked a full batch of oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. Then I ate 5 of them, and 4 more while watching CJ Wilcox score 24 points in the 2nd half for the Dawgs. That’s 9.  Too much.  So I brought a bunch to the neighbors.  This morning, after eating breakfast I devoured 4 more.  There were 5 left on the plate and I was still alone in the house.  So I set one aside, and threw 4 of them into the garbage can.  I stuffed them in so that it would take an act of degradation to get them out.

I called Aunt Bettie after that and she said, “Take out the garbage”. But I told her it would be even more degrading to dig them out of the garbage can outside. Don’t bake cookies when you’re all alone.  Just my opinion.
